  Forgive me as I’m typing this review out while coming home from the restaurant. Luckily, I’m not driving. I am an Activities Coordinator for an Assisted Living in Iowa. So I was in charge of 10 residents on this day (sometimes it’s more or less). I had never had Don & Millie’s, but I’ve always heard how great their margaritas were. I was working, so now booze for me. Either way, upon entry an employee, on his own volition, came out and held the door for our people, helping them into the building. The gal at the counter was friendly and answered our questions. Our food was out quicker than I probably have ever experienced. Maybe a minute or two. It was unbelievable. The food was hot. I had a double don, which is a double cheeseburger. You can tell the beef was fresh. The fries tasted fresh. Onion rings were good. We had 13 people there and everybody enjoyed the food. Service was great, food was very good. All the employees we so friendly. And to top it off, a nice lady dining at the restaurant bought every one of our residents a $10 gift card. Which, obviously, was incredibly kind. Overall it was a great experience. Tasty, fresh food for at or under $10. Great service. Clean. I will be back.

  The young lady at the register took my order was polite and friendly. Great positive attitude and love how she was friendly and accurate with my order ..they keep the restaurant clean... Very well maintained.... The food is always tasting fresh thankx to the kitchen crew aswell food was amazingly perfect...The elderly lady that handed my order assured if i needed any condiments before i left ....Great Crew .. ....this is my second review 💯👍

  Pretty dirty. Every table was dirty. There is a corner where there are water stains and looks to be black mold growing. Margie is pretty rude. Clicked her fingers on the counter while we were picking what we wanted like we were inconveniencing her. Bathrooms were the only clean thing in the store. It was 7:15pm and they were clearly irritated we were here.

  Kind of like a mom and pop’s fast food place. It’s like Sonic, but slightly better. “Price does matter.” But at the same time I spent $30 for two combos and 1 extra entree. It’s alright. Saw the lady at the first window taking receipt by hand into the records machine. Kinda sad, but I suppose typical for a business like this.
