Loved the atmosphere and the food was great. Beer selection was very wide and staff were very knowledgeable.

Was stoked to eat in this chill spot after a long hike. Unfortunately, this just wasn’t the place. After meeting the hostess/waitress and being brushed off we waited about 10 min to be seated in this completely empty restaurant (6:00pm). Eventually we were seated by the bartender. The waitress continued to ignore us and after 20 min of waiting to put in our order we left. The bartender continued to seat people, but never took our order. It was astounding as we were seated directly across from the bar! Maybe the live music and bar is more of a draw than the food, because I honestly can’t see why someone would put up with such bad service when there are so many great restaurants just a stones throw away. After leaving we had a wonderful meal with great beer and great service just around the corner.

Definitely one of my favorite places in Beacon. Great vibe, staff and excellent food - specials are even more impressive. I especially like that they serve locally sourced craft beer and liquor. Depending on what night of the week you go, there is often live music or some other event happening. Highly recommended, especially if you like that “dive bar” feel without the actual “dive”.

Local watering hole in Beacon with a storied history (used to be a speakeasy), tasty food and friendly ambience. To be fair, I was there to play art music, the crowd was mostly local, and seemed to be there for drinking and enjoying their friends (birthdays, etc .)
