Love this place. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I've only been in a few times, but they remembered my name and car. Great customer service. They replaced my transmission and the starter for a really good price. When the starter wasn't acting right, they had the car in immediately and replaced it free of charge. It is now the only place where I will take my car.

I came to these guys when my car refused to switch to the "Parking" gear. Bummer! No "Parking" meant that I could drive, but could not get the key out of ignition, and could only park on "Neutral". Two mechanics had told me(without taking things apart) that my transmission probably needs to be replaced and we are talking over $5,000. Well, these guys worked on it for maybe 40 minutes and found that my old battery leaked and corroded some cable that connects transmission with Parking (I may get the details wrong). At first, they were going to order a new cable. Instead, they ended up just cleaning the old cable, and voila! It worked! They charged me for a fraction of an hour, and no parts - when they knew I was prepared to pay thousands!! My mechanic friend could not believe it; he said such an honest mechanic is more of an exception.

Fixed my Stanking Lincoln's tranny leak for a great price. Leaked for a whole year, took it to other shops on Ranier and they were stuck on stupid. Overall best auto shop I been to since moving from Brooklyn. Finding a good mechanic is like looking for a new doctor, I found one so I gotta shout em' out the BK way. Ya digg! Shout out to Terry and Harry . bap, bap, bap! -bo0gz

I was about an hour away from my house when my clutch began to act funny. Dean Transmissions was able to have it in and out in a matter of hours, which is very quick for replacing a clutch. The price was great the only problem I have is I just wish I lived closer. Thanks a bunch!
