  Typical Courtyard Marriott. It's close to the airport and has reasonable rates. They charge 10 dollars a night for parking, which surprised me. You don't hear a ton of airplane noise except once in a while. There is a McDonalds next door, but no other restaurants in a blocks walking distance that I saw. But there are lots of restaurants within a few minutes driving.

  I am so grateful to the people at Courtyard Inn, San Antonio Airport. When we arrived at our airline to check luggage my wife discovered she was missing her cell phone. Only 30 minutes left before boarding time! We called the hotel and they quickly responded by going to the room we vacated. My wife had straightened up the bed and the phone was found under the sheets! They promptly called me and said that the airport shuttle would bring it over to the airport right away. We got the phone back and still had 5 minutes before we had to board, very relieved. That’s what I call quick response to help a guest at their hotel.

  This is just an average Courtyard. Staff is polite but since it is so close to the airport there is lots of Noise with airplanes taking off and Landing. If you want to get a good night's rest I recommend ear plugs or possibly trying to stay in the courtyard away from facing the airport.

  For a Courtyard Marriott, this place is rather nice. Rooms are spacious and well maintained with just the right amount of furniture. You can tell the place has an older design but when they renovated they did a very good job. The staff is friendly and accommodating. In addition, the hotel is very convenient to the airport and a number of restaurants with frequent shuttle service to the airport. The big, enormous downside was that they installed thermostats with motion detectors and then put the thermostat on a wall that doesn't face into the room. This means that unless you frequently walk to and from the bathroom, your room will not maintain its set temperature. So if it's summer, you'll be burning up and in winter you'll be freezing. I understand and fully approve of using thermostats like these to save money and be more environmentally friendly, but if they're put in a place that's ineffective...you're just taking a great product and making it bad. If you're very picky about sleeping temperatures...this unfortunately is not the hotel for you.

  The personnel we're very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to requests. Rooms were clean, nice sized and all the amenities are waiting for you in your room. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot, close to plenty of great places to eat. There is good wifi available. Overall a very enjoyable stay. O would certainly recommend this hotel, though I would not recommend eating here, the food is good but prices are quite high.
