::The location was easy to find, check-in was swift and I was on the fourth floor which is their top floor. King room with one bed and what looked like a pull out couch. The room was spacious with many quirks like the refrigerator nook and the towel cutout area in the shower. My first shower was short lived as the water got cold after three minutes. The towels were worth, the linen was clean and comfortable as well. The cable was hit or miss, kept going in and out. I stayed here to attend a wedding so the bride had booked a group of rooms but I noticed that the rate provided was higher than the rate on their website. Why is that?

::This is a beautiful hotel but was honestly one of the worst Marriott experiences I’ve had in a very long time. I’ll start from the beginning, when we first arrived the young lady at the front desk didn’t acknowledge us and continued typing away on her computer and when she finally did she was extra dry and rude. Aside from that I guess this hotel rents out their lobby so their were a ton of people in the lobby for a party and it was so loud that you could barely hear the rude front desk attendant. The area they rent out is right next to the bar and in front of the television so you couldn’t sit at the bar or in the lobby even if you wanted to. Now for my room, my sheets were sour, the coffee cup lids were too small, housekeeping left dirty cotton swabs in the trash, and empty shampoo and conditioner bottles and a used bar of soap in my shower, not to mention the shower water temperature would’ve go beyond lukewarm. As usual the beds were extremely comfortable once I removed the sour sheets but in the morning we went to the Starbucks Market that is supposed to open at 6:30 and at 6:45 they were still setting up and we’re unapologetic about it. The young lady was telling everyone to have a seat because it was going to be a while. So we attempted to sit down and all the tables were dirty from the party in the lobby the previous night and the floors were dirty and sticky. So we finally get to order and she’s still setting up and opening while we’re ordering and to top it all off they are out of just about everything. Needless to say I will not be returning to this particular location and luckily I’ve stayed at several Marriotts and I know this is t their standard.

::Checked into a room that was dirty ( rice on the carpet); front desk manager (Norris) was brusque and impolite! Steam from the bathroom triggered the fire alarm. Overall, a pretty unpleasant hotel experience! The two stars are for the support staff who worked hard to make our stay comfortable.

::Good spot, great for family vacations in DC area. Lots of food options around and frankly better and reasonable accommodation rates compared to DC downtown. Enjoyed our stay and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and so was the facilities even tho the hotel was packed when we were staying.

::I just completed my stay. My overall experience was very pleasing, however, I am not used to my credit credit card being charged twice. I was informed the initial charges which included incidentals will fall off between 3-5 days. It wouldn’t be so bad except I stayed for 3 nights. I don’t understand why they didn’t just do a credit since the initial transaction was more than the final bill. The local office couldn’t adequately provide an explanation.
