  Corner Bakery is a delightful and reasonably priced restaurant that caters to the fast-paced clientele who visit and work near the Capitol. I have found the menu to be tasty and the venue tidy. It's definitely a casual stop with helpful and courteous employees.

  I had the Chilled Swiss Oats, toasted bagel and dark roast coffee. All excellent. I've paid much more for much worse. Is say great food for an economical price. But, really, it was just great food! Fast service.

  I had the pleasure of meeting Champ today. He was very helpful & politee. It’s nice to be treated like that. Stop by .... he will take good care of you! I only have one major complaint ......BRING THE BREAD CRUMBS BACK ON TOP OF THE MAC & CHEESE!!!!!!!! What were you thinking??? At least make it an option please! I used to get several orders for my co-workers and since you have taken those bread crumbs away they don’t ask me anymore. Small change ... BIG difference! Thanks Champ! You are awesome!

  No No NO. PLEASE READ- I used to frequent this location as I work in the building next door and the food is good. BUT, I walked in today(5/31) to grab a soup to go. A lady had walked to the counter from her table with a bowl in hand saying it wasn't what she thought it was going to be and she wanted to get something else. I realized a few moments later that they had dumped that in to a to go cup and re-sold it to me!! I asked the cashier if they had just given me that lady's soup, and he said "Yes" in a very unashamed way. The manager who was standing at the line wouldn't even make eye contact with me as the cashier told him I requested a fresh one. Disgusting!! How many other dishes that have been taste tested, touched, sneezed on, eta have been brought back to the kitchen and re-sold? With the flu being so serious this year, this seems very irresponsible. Not to mention the food is not exactly cheap. For $5.50 I shouldn't have to share a bowl of soup with another patron.

  This is a neat place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch meal. You place your order at the counter and then they deliver your food to your table. The service was relatively good considering it was a busy morning. The food was great, I had steel cut oatmeal and my partner had the eggs and potatoes. I had a few of the potatoes and they were very flavorful. The prices were reasonable. Our meals with beverages was about 20 dollars.
