::A delightful gem to visit, and with a good recommendation from family, Maison Kayser's menu catered to these bread lovers from Canada. The French Onion soup was a scrumptious accompaniment to our sandwich choices. Highly recommended.

::The pastries are excellent. There is something strange about the staff. There is a No "FLOW" to the experience when you walk in. The staff seems to have the attitude they could care less about the customer. They should start hiring ex-Starbucks employees as Starbucks doesn't have the pastries but at least they interact like they like and enjoy having customers in the store. Maison Kayser could sell a lot more pastries if they simply knew how to interact with customers. I went there multiple times, it never improved. Get takeout, enjoy the pastries.

::An amazing new business in DC but while they area new for us here in DC they are not new in the business and they have been in NYC and Paris,France for so many years! They really know what they are doing, they use high quality ingredients and a real French imported butter! Everything there is just amazing!! My very favorite is to have a Parisian sandwich (ask them to toast it) then any dessert or baked item with a double espresso!! Then walk to the White House & Pennsylvania ave!! It's a therapy!

::My first time in DC and we came across this place! I love it. The people are friendly. The coffee was excellent. I had the chocolate almond croissant and it was divine!!! I will definitely come back when we visit Washington again! I'll tell everyone in Dallas about this place

::Bread is delicious, but their customer flow is a bit off. We wanted to sit down, and incorrectly thought the seating area was like a typical cafe. Need to make clear that the order process is different for the restaurant and the cafe. Only other issue is that the croquet I ordered was still cold, despite being warmed. Their processes still need some refinement on the customer handling side. Look forward to when they get things moving smoothly.
