  A few years ago, I fell from black ice and it changed my life forever. I initially ignored it, thinking that I’ve had falls before and recovered just fine, but then I soon began experiencing such severe daily chronic pain – it left me sweating, shaking, and crying on the floor. The doctors and specialists that I saw only ended prescribing stronger meds each time or referencing to surgeries that in their own words, “may or may not help”. They often opted for the ”wait and see”, because I was “still very young”. That “wait and see” period turned into two years. It turned into tests and diagnoses that could’ve occurred faster while my pain only got more severe. At the same time, I lost the ability to work a normal job, my confidence, and even just the ability to care for my basic bodily functions. I was in a dark place. Not knowing if the pain would ever become manageable, and not knowing if I even still had a future where I could be self reliant. Then, when I changed primary and got prescribed for PT, I found Frank and his fantastic team. Frank was emphatic and completely understanding of the pain I was going through. He didn’t let my age become a distracting factor, and took the time to design and tailor a workout regime to target muscles I needed to strengthen. He worked patiently with me as we had to retrain the muscles that had been tense for years from pain to learn how to relax. He also made it clear that PT isn’t just some one time fix, it’s a lifestyle that I had to adapt to if I ever wanted to live a pain-free life. Every time I came in, he had something new for me to try. Frank was constantly tweaking and refining my exercises to reflect my current changes and level of pain. More importantly, Frank even went above and beyond and spent time researching and understanding my pain before directing me to the right specialist. Since then, not only do I understand my condition better, but I’ve regained my confidence and ability to live a normal life. Then first tome I was able to go two days without pain, I cried. The entire team there is incredibly supportive, encouraging, and positive. Not only do they care about how you are when you’re at the practice, but also how you are outside. They celebrated all my milestones with me, from the first time I was able to walk for more than 10 minutes to when I was able to go hiking for over two hours. With the type of pain I was experiencing before, I would have never imagined that I could be living the life I have now – virtually pain free. As life gets better, it can get hard to stick to the exercises and by the time some pain starts happening – it’s too late. So I still look forward to going in when I can, and they make the time to work with my crazy schedule. Be warned: the fun, energetic, and positive outlook in there is contagious. Also, they have valet and parking is free 😉 In short/TL:DR, I highly, highly recommend them.

  I have been training in powerlifing and mma for more then twenty-five years.Training at the Renzo Gracie Academy in Manhattan since Renzo first opened many years ago.I had about 14 serious surgeries.No physical therapist had been able to help my condition.Until i came into core physical therapy.It is by far the GREATEST physical therapy practice i have ever been to and i have been to many.Thank you Frank Cesare for getting me back on the mat.   Excellent PT and staff! Frank is very knowledgable on what he is practicing, and delivers the best care to his patients! He truly wants each of his patients to progress and develop stronger from the initial visit. PT aide, Brenda, is phenomenal at demonstrating exercises and enforcing correct technique. Highly recommend!!

  Came to Dr. Frank a couple months ago after a torn tricep tendon surgery. Frank and his staff were great at reviving full movement of my arm. Can't thank them enough for all they did. Definitely would recommend !

  Came to Core Physcial Therapy with a torn meniscus in hopes to avoid surgery. After a month of exercise and manual therapy, I have successfully avoided surgery and I'm back to playing baseball! Can't thank them enough. Definite recommend.
