  Good METRO station, but more than a few curious and shady characters outside and around the entrance. Also, good God people. Quit with the vaping and smoking outside! It's like walking through a massive wall of fog.

  Columbia Heights Metro Station is one of the more unique DC Metro Stations simple because of the beautiful art that welcomes you once you leave the gate and decide to go right or left up the escalators. Other than that, it still maintains the DC Metro look.

  If you're familiar with the metro, nothing should be too surprising about this station. Relatively constant funky smell, occasionally working escalators, the usual loitering folks, and very friendly people handing out newspapers.

  Your typical DC metro station. Escalators might be working and it might be clean... But probably not.

  So wish they ran through the night... But they are easy to navigate.
