  After being turned away by two restaurants on Christmas night, we found Coastal which is tucked inside of the Hilton hotel. They welcomed us in and we had a great evening enjoying food and football at the bar. Kudos to the staff for being so accommodating for a couple who didn't plan ahead and wanted to dine late. Food was solid, as we had the chicken sandwich and club. The beer battered regular fries barely beat out the sweet potato fries as the best side. Good place all around and being open was a life saver for us. We'll be back next time we visit Charlotte.

  Amazing buffet on weekdays. Not many of them know about this place, but it's worth a try

  Great restaurant attached to the Hilton. Daily buffet for both breakfast and lunch. Each day is a different theme for the lunch buffet (Asian, Seafood, American, Latin, etc.) with each theme day's menu changing on a weekly basis (i.e. The menu for Asian day one week will be different the following week). In addition to the buffet, a full non-buffet menu is also always available and regularly changes, as well. Highly recommended.
