I came here in Bayonne area, they told me to get my prescription for cough within 45 minutes, so I waited and when I went to walgreen where I told them to send it, they forgot to send the prescription! The Pharmacy tried to call them back but they are close for the day! I suffered too much coughing and waited until tom. to get my prescription cough meds. I did not sleep, my throat hurts and called my primary physician instead to give me meds to stop my cough! How can they forget the very thing that I came there for?

Been here numerous times. Quick excellent service, staff and Doctors are courteous and right on in treatment. Doctors alter on schedule, so some reviews may vary due to that. I have always had a positive experience.

I have to agree with a couple of the other reviews. The place is very clean and professional looking, and most of of the staff are very friendly. Dr. Lowestein, however, is a different story. The two times I have gone, both times I had seen Dr. Lowenstein. I developed a respiratory infection at the end of January. I'm usually somebody who doesn't get sick often and when I do I'm back to full health in a couple days. This infection is like nothing I have ever experienced before (and never want to again!). The coughing was so bad that routinely there were times I was coughing 5+ minutes nonstop and even started passing out for about 5-10 seconds coughing (not just the really long attacks) several times a day. After spending an entire 5 seconds in the room, Dr. Lowenstein told me I had viral infection, for which he gave me antibiotics (for a virus?) and some other medicine that was supposed to handle the cough symptoms (it didn't do a thing). The cough kept staying/getting worse and we went back about two weeks and after about another 5 seconds of consideration gave me some different medicines, which were also ineffective. I have yet to go back because I feel it's a waste of my time and money to see this doctor again. He doesn't seem to care much or at all and it's as if he's just going through the motions. P.S. - The cough has resolved itself after 2 and half months, but now I have bruised ribs as a result. It started out as a mild bruise but has developed into a very deep and painful one which does not seem to be healing on its own. I'm reluctant to do so, but I'm thinking of going in today to see if I can't at least get some pain medication.

The staff here is so professional. Cannot say the same for Dr. Lowenstein. My third visit within a year for cold/ sore throat. Dr. Joshi is amazing if you have the opportunity to be seen by him. The last two visits were with Dr. Lowenstein. I have been in medicine for over 18 years and never in my life have I ever met a Dr. with such a poor bedside matter. Dismissive, rushed, and really could care less for his job, or the patient he is treating. Really an awkward person should be behind a screen doing research. First visit with Dr. Lowenstein he stated I should consider having my tonsils out. Ummmm I do have my tonsils out. Today went there told me I am fine my throat looks fine cannot get Strep without tonsils. When I stated that I have gotten strep (Strep C) he made a face and was like I don't think so. Wound up at my primary care who is an hour away she repeated strep and yes it came back positive. (Broken blood vessels and exudate all over my throat) It's shame that this place has potential to be a outstanding facility to deliver quality healthcare. Dr. Lowenstein needs some mentoring.

The facility is really nice and the women who run the front desk are very professional. I wasn't feeling well recently and was unable to see my primary doctor. I went to the CityMD in Bayonne and was quickly registered and placed in a room. When Dr. Lowenstein came into the room he was disinterested in my concerns and rude. He gave me no resolution and told if I felt worse I could always come back. I asked him if there was anything he can recommend over the counter and he told me no. The next day I called the 800 number to address my concerns and Melody was just as disinterested as the doctor was... As someone who has never visited an urgent care I will not be returning anytime soon.
