::I’m not too impressed with how long it took my son to get pain medicine. I’m also not impressed that my mother had called to give you guys a heads up that my son who’s autistic was on the way in with a broken arm and you guys weren’t ready. I was told there were no rooms available. Once we finally got to a room there were plenty of rooms. I understand shortage in staff I get that but the fact no one could get him in a room makes me upset. The lady who came to do my sons vitals before X-rays came in yelling at him and I had to correct that behavior. You don’t yell at children who are hurt. You’re suppose to be there to make the sick and hurt one’s feel comfortable. We had a really good doctor who listened to me advocating for my son. Instead of calling childrens he called boys town like I wanted. He went above and beyond and made sure that I was okay as well as my son who he was amazing with. I believe the paramedics name was Bradley and he was truly a champ and went above and beyond as well for my son. The woman at this hospital I would’ve expected better behavior from. My child or not my mother instincts always kick in. Might want to think about putting your staff through some training course about being sympathetic and how to handle children.

::When I was released I was still laying down in the bed. They walked out without helping me get up and making sure. I wasn't still dizzy and I just had to find my way out of the emergency room area other. Than that I've always had wonderful care at mercy and I've been going there 56 years. Maybe cause I had my 2nd son there and I've been going there ever since. Yeah I assume we're on the mercy hospital they care I receive them myself.

::I was taken back to the out patient room at 11:30, so we started off on a great note. The room was clean and roomy, my husband was allowed to wait in the room during my surgery and recovery. My IV was a bit troublesome, the nurse first attempted didn’t go well, she went to find someone else to try and that went well that time. So I totally appreciate when she didn’t keep trying. Everything went well, the nurse made sure that my husband had coffee and a blanket. Everything went well I would totally recommend Mercy out patient sugary!

::I have been going to mercy hospital since I was just a little girl. I have had nothing but good experiences at mercy hospital except this past visit when I told the nurse that I had no veins and that another doctor had told me to let any other medical staff that was going to give me a IV where I had a good vein, so I let him know and he wasn't even hearing anything i was saying. He continued to jab the needle into my arm. I was in so much pain. If I ever see that nurse when I go there again I will turn around and walk out because he didn't seem like he gave a care in the world as to how I was feeling or how he was hurting me..

::I am impressed with the Emergency Room diagnostic skill. (I am not easily impressed.) They were able to diagnose something that I'm afraid other top hospitals have missed. Wondering if they have a better, more thorough lab or something. (I thought I was going to the best in the world.) The physician in the ER seemed to know exactly what she was dealing with. I thought about the questions she asked more when I got home and realized I answered some too quick (in pain, wanted to be efficient to get help quickly). I think she was definitely on the right track. MUCH APPRECIATED!
