::Came to my 2nd appointment, left dissapointed. Im self pay, small budget. For the amount i paid i felt it was poor service. I was allergic to the 1st meds for acne. Called and they said they coulbt precribe another one over phone. Dermotologist would have to see me so ibwaitied a month for which was already acheduled for my check up of how meds were working. I addressed a 2nd concern that wasnt taken care of the 1st timw i came and left the same way. And i just paid for todays visit for somwthing that could have been done over the phone. So very upset and disaapointed. Cant wait for my insurance to get started and find a good dermotolgiat with better customer service and not rushing their patients. Somewhere that feels worth the time. Yes Im So Upset.

::Center for Skin was able to get my husband an appointment during the holiday season. They were professional and very responsive with his issues. Great place.

::I've been going to these people for a few years, and I'm finally done with them. Let me explain why. To start with, arranging an appointment is a hassle. Need to get in within the next few weeks? Sucks for you, because the next open appointment is two months away. I can understand being busy, but how hard is it to make room for a fifteen minute consultation? I always arrive fifteen minutes early to my appointment. Said appointment always starts thirty minutes late (on a good day. I've waited an hour and a half before, and the only reason I didn't have to wait longer is because I had midterms that day, so I threatened to leave. I still ended up sitting in the examination room for another thirty minutes before threatening to leave again.) The nurses and assistants are always very polite, but that doesn't cover for the next fifteen minutes you'll be waiting in the exam room (after already starting thirty minutes late!), waiting for the doctor to come in. Said doctor will arrive, I tell him that I'm just coming in to get a face cream prescription renewed. After looking at my face and arms for about ten seconds, he prescribes two more medicines that I'm not sure why I need. He's only in the room for about ten minutes, tops, making me wonder why it took so long for him to arrive in the first place. Two days later, I receive a call from my pharmacy informing me that my meds are in. I find out that the face cream that I made the appointment for wasn't even represcribed. This leads to my next issue. Once upon a time, when you called the office, a live person picked up. Now, you get an automated list: location and hours, make a surgical appointment, make a clinical appointment, talk to a triage nurse, or request medical files. I have no idea who to talk to. So I press the button to connect me to a triage nurse, and I get a voicemail. If this was the only issue I had ever had with this business, then I wouldn't be complaining, but it happens all. the. time. When I first started going there, they prescribed me a face cream that made my face peel and feel like it was burning. Not a sunburn, mind you. The cream just dried it out so much that it made the skin feel like it was burning. When I called to tell them, they said to use moisturizer, which I had already been doing, and when I told them that, they said to use it more. I stopped using that face cream within the next two days and just dealt with the acne. Nowadays, though, they're nearly impossible to get in touch with, so I'm terrified to use this new lotion that the doctor has prescribed. I haven't been on the market yet, but I feel like this place can't be the best my insurance has to offer. I think it's time to find someone new and more patient-friendly. Save yourselves the irritation and look elsewhere.

::First off, let me start by saying, Julie Cook is an amazing woman with a great personality.Although, I'm pretty upset with my high dollar purchase. I bought 7 sessions (750$) of laser hair removal ( my whole face), and IT DOES NOT WORK for me. It actually has left a large sized dark spot on the side of my face, in which i was told would go away over time, IT HAS NOT, even with the cream that i was told to use.. I'm assuming I'm stuck with the large sized spot for life now. The hair on my face has not gone away but now grows more coarse than it ever has. I do have ONLY 1 session of laser left and id rather give it away than go back to damage my face more than i already have by doing this.

::Dr. Malouf is an excellent dermatologist. I have worked with him to have a cyst removed from my forehead, and I have been very pleased with the results. I will continue to visit him in the future. Latoya was an excellent assistant who helped me out on the day of my visit.
