  I applied online for financing and that company forwarded my info to CarMax. I didn’t like the rate offered by that company and CarMax came back with better financing options. I looked online at cars and reserved a vehicle. It took a while for the transfer and I decided on another vehicle. CarMax came and picked me up in the vehicle so I could test drive it back to the dealership. I was back home within 2 hours with my vehicle. I noticed a rattling sound a few days later and I took it back to CarMax and they fixed it (it’s a common problem with that make and model based on Internet forums) and filled up my gas tank. I’m glad I took my niece’s advice and looked at CarMax. Everyone was amazing from my sales rep, to the finance manager, to the service guys.

  Best car purchasing experience I've ever had. No pressure, no extra fees, friendly, helpful employees, and excellent after the sale service. What more can you ask for?

  I bought my first car from CarMax, and was a little skeptical at first, but the process was seamless. I had a car shipped from another location, and it arrived earlier than anticipated. The agent was very communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. Customer service is second to none, which makes all the difference in the world!

  I just bought my first car from CarMax about two weeks ago. It is still running perfect and hasn't had any surprise issues pop up. I really enjoyed my car shopping experience as well. I have been to dealerships where they apply so much pressure that I can't even think straight, but Gino my sales rep spent several hours with me looking around and did not make me feel pressured once. He was fantastic and worked hard to find me some good options in my price range. I would definitely recommend using CarMax if you want a laid back (and even fun) car shopping experience!

  My salesman, Ralph, was a perfect. I was there to buy and he walked me through the process. The folks in the business office were also good. I know I could have saved a little money going elsewhere but I needed to buy that day and knew they had a good selection of minivans. Had I gone to a brand name dealer I wouldn’t have had the options to compare side by side. I also used the 3-day payback option to get better financing through my own bank and they were happy to accept my check. It did take longer than expected to get the permanent tag so I did have to make one extra trip back to get an extension on the temporary tag but the business office people took care of that reasonably quick and my plate came less than a week later.
