  Awful service. On 11/5 I visited this branch to get a simple cashier's check. I was asked the amount, and then immediately I was told it would take 48 hours for it to process and I would have to come back. The teller would not explain to me why I would not be allowed to have access to my funds for 48 hours, but rather she said that was the rule. Interesting... except had visited another Capital One Bank in Bethesda (Old Georgetown Square) a couple of months ago to get another sizable cashier's check without any problem; the check I got in Bethesda was nearly seven times the amount I requested on 11/5. Needless to say I won't be back to this branch and I am considering multiple account cancellations with this bank.
