  I would have an easier time, better luck, and quicker service if I gained 4+years of experience, applied to this job, interviewed for this job, waited 2 weeks to hear back that I got hired, and finally started on my first day just to do all of my banking needs for myself. That’s how helpful and professional this establishment is. I would find it more convenient driving an hour out of my way to ANY bank than to ever visit this bank again. I would suggest packing it up and closing it down, because it’s a complete waste of time, money, and space. The employees here are an embarrassment at their job. Which is sad, because I normally have a great experience with Capital One customer service. I will never set foot in this specific bank again and I’ll definitely be spreading the word.

  For the second time in one month the same employee at the Gambrills, Md bank is unprofessional. He has conversations with customers that have nothing to do with banking. Again, I am waiting to be seen for service and he’s having conversations with the customer about traveling and how much he enjoyed this restaurant etc. I’ve been waiting since 11:30. Now that it’s 12:00 and time to close he wants to cut the conversation short and spend no time with me handling my banking. No sir! I will not let him rush me out. Oh wow, now they are conversing about their children and culture. OMG!!!!

  This bank is so inexperienced with foreign currency (Euros). Inexperienced staff member sent me away 2 times because he failed to tell me that they only accept foreign currency before 3:30 pm on weekdays excluding Saturday's. You can't even reach anyone to talk to and ask anything, because they supposedly are so busy, but when I go there no one is on there. Definitely not returning to this branch. Period.

  I needed a cashiers check and went in to this branch. The staff were helpful, quick, and patient, and there was no line.

  Multiple problems on multiple occasions. I was forced to use this branch after a long time Bowie MD location was shuttered. I've experienced long waits to see a customer service rep (pre-pandemic), lack of attention to detail in completing forms, providing incorrect/incomplete information or explanations. Now with all the back office changes to my accounts, I'm looking to change banks after 30+ years.
