::Delicious hand made pasta in cozy atmosphere.
Andrew Routier
::The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu which, does rotate occasionally, is always madder if fresh and delicious ingredients. The food is definitively Tuscan. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a casual but upscale evening.

::The service was adequate, nothing above and beyond though. The cocktails were amazing and the wine selection was fantastic. The food on the other hand left much to be desired. The food overall was bland. I found the strozzapreti to be dry and under seasoned. There was essentially no sauce on the pasta. The black pepper tagliatelle carbonara was almost not seasoned at all. The only thing that stood out about this meal for me was the complete lack of flavor. Particularly in the pasta dishes.

::The chef has somehow mastered the skill of undercooking yet burning mixed vegetables, a dish which consisted of two cremated carrots, some sort of oily onions and three thin spears of asparagus with all of the flavour of wallpaper paste. I paid over $27 for the pleasure, which I assumed was a pricing mistake, but the waitress informed me that I was fortunate because the actual price was over $30 and they'd made a mistake on the bill! The equivalent of being kicked in the knee and the perpetrator telling you that they were aiming for your crown jewels. An overall feeling of 'meh' came from my fellow diners and the toilet being so close to the kitchen was a little bit gross. Really disappointing after reading decent reviews.

::Atmosphere was very nice. Food was just so so. I think you can do much better food-wise for a night out in Seattle at a fraction of the cost, but you will probably find your evening at Cantinetta enjoyable.
