I cannot recommend this location. The only redeeming factor was satisfactory food and coffee. Otherwise, the staff was inattentive and actively ignored people. I was skipped in line when trying to place an order. The bathroom was “closed”, but they gave me the code when I said all I wanted to do was wash my hands. Unbelievable. Go to 1369 instead; it’s 2 blocks down Mass ave.

Pretty great, delicious hot mocha coffee, a woody, rustic cafe design, decoration and surroundings, great, expert, and friendly baristas, and not always comfortable but pretty amiable customers. Also a very cozy ambience place one can sit, sip coffee and do any daily work in, or have a relaxing time alone or with other people.

Strange place. All the workers here seemed extremely quiet. After I placed my order, I stood in front of the counter since I thought you had to wait for your coffee. But then I saw a worker bringing out an order to a customer, so I sat down. After a few minutes, I didn't get my drink, so I walked up to the counter and asked if we were supposed to wait there or sit down and have it delivered. They said the order would be placed on the counter for pickup. Then they asked what I ordered and it was clear that they just forgot about the order. I got my coffee after a few minutes (Iced Americano - it was actually pretty good) and sat down and waited a few more minutes for my food. I went up to the counter again to ask where the food is, and they just asked what I had ordered - so they obviously forgot about it again. They pulled a cinnamon roll out of the display case, microwaved it, and gave it to me. It was a decent cinnamon roll and coffee just a bad ordering experience. The decor inside was cute though.

Bathroom closes at 12pm so it’s not really somewhere you can stay to eat/drink/study. Management: if you have a problem with non-customers making messes in the bathroom, maybe consider lobbying your local government reps for public bathrooms instead of closing yours and blaming it on people who don’t have anywhere else to go. I hope you’re not surprised if you suddenly start finding those messes on your doorstep! Also the chai I ordered ended up being all milk?

I wish I could give 0 star or minus star. This was the worst place I’ve ever been - me and my bf can’t find any good about this place. Just surprisingly bad. 1. The food is horrible and pricey. All the food were pre-made and were put in windows like leftovers. They would microwave for you but the brown wrapping paper were all a stick together with the bread and it was super difficult to take it off. I ordered a roast beef sandwich. It’s simply 2 thin slices of beef, 3 pieces of red pepper and 2 hard bread. And it cost $9. My bf ordered an Italian sandwich and he only finished half 🤮Felt like chewing gums he said. 2. The AC seemed broken and they put small fans everywhere. If you sit at certain seats, the fan can blow directly to your face. 3. Inside was dark and tables were super dirty - I don’t see anyone came to clean the table after people left. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
