::I'm fine with paying for quality, but when 3 shirts rip in the exact same place and you tell me it's my problem... Brooks Brothers, you're blackballed for not standing behind your product.

::Usually I do not write review about stores or restaurants. But I need to share this. Then...I called the store to know about the possibility to use customer parking. They don't have any customer parking but according to the person I talked to...i should have found very easily street parking in front of the store. Indeed...after driving for more than 30 mins around the store i found a parking for just 6.5 dollars per hour! Once in the store I asked a salesman for some info. The employee was really unpleasant and disappointing. I love the brend but...after talking to the salesman just decided to go away and not to buy anything. I will never ever go to that store any more. Not sure Ill visit again a brooks brother store.

::Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Bought a suit that was a very good price, had their tailor Mario make alterations and they mailed the suit to my house. Awesome all around.

::So, 30 years ago or so, when I was a first year law student, I stopped by Brooks Brothers on Michigan Avenue to buy my first real work suit. I was in jeans and a t shirt, my standard attire. The snooty staff ignored me, so I eventually walked out and did not shop there for about 25 years. Two years ago, I was stuck needing shoes for a black tie event, so I went to the Brooks Brothers at the Rookery near my office, and found a nice person who helped me. I still buy mostly online from them, but I have bought a few things from her over the past few years. Today I needed a couple of new suits. I called Brooks Brothers, spoke to the sales person, told her I was on my way over and would see her in a few minutes, and walked into the store a few minutes later. Mind you, she knew I was about to buy two suits, plus undoubtedly ties etc. I was in the store 15 minutes. Not a single person said hello, or asked if they could help me, or did anything to lift a finger. Today, unlike 30 years ago, I'm in a nice suit and tie. So go figure. I can fairly say it will be another 25 years before I set foot in Brooks Brothers again. I will also stop buying my shirts online there.
