  A little bit crowded but that's only because they have anything and everything that you are looking for! The staff here is great - They are knowledgeable and always quick to help.

  I've been shopping there for 10+ years ...the staff is so helpful and nice consistanty!! I've never had a bad experience or not been given 100% perfect service... This establishment is a fine example of just exactly why we need to support local small business.

  Exactly what a neighborhood hardware store should be. They have a pretty good selection actually, considering the size. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and kind. Making this place my go-to hardware store in Astoria!

  I am only writing about the keys we had made there, not about any other aspect of this store. We had three house keys made, and none of them worked. When we returned them to have them recut, the woman there vehemently denied that they had been made there in the first place. She basically called my partner a liar and charged him to have new keys made. I like local shops, and I try to support them whenever I can, but I do not appreciate that this one refused to acknowledge and mend what was clearly an improper job.

  I listen to Car Talk. Those guys know cars and are characters. Teddy, the humble hardware professor, is just like that, but for construction and handy-work. The store is stocked with a combination of tools and a wide variety of hardware. It's well-organized and gets restocked regularly. Over the last year, Teddy answered every question that I've thrown at him. I normally don't write reviews, but he has pointed me in the right direction so many times after getting turned around at Home Depot, that I decided to write this review. Thank you for running the best hardware shop that I've ever stepped into and for being in my neighborhood.
