  Bloomingdales certainly is "Like No Other Store in the World". I don't mean that in a positive way. If you're thinking about ordering furniture from them, don't. Go to ABC Home instead. We've received such uprofessional service from Bloomingdales. After spending thousands of $$$$ on bedroom furniture, and a major delivery screw up, my husband and I are now sleeping on the floor with no resolution from Bloomingdales in sight. I have never been treated with such disrespect and unacceptable behavior in my life.

  It is my second time buying furniture here. I got an $7,895 teak wall unit for $599 with an addition 20% off. I bought two 90 inch Italian leather sofas for $599 each! You must be able to temper your expectations but I've never been disappointed. Today, I got an $11,000 mattress system for $1195.

  I have bought a lot of stuff here, probably $17,000 over the years, and love the place. However, recently I purchased many things and had problems. The dresser and couch were both broken and got worse as I used them for a few months. They said they do not sell damaged pieces but they do. So beware they do sell some damaged pieces and I would not buy them, only purchase the blemished or nicked ones.
