::Got an order for takeout. Ordered the Bob's Big Bear Burger and the New York Steak. The meat was cooked medium on both meals but it wasn't juicy and it had no flavor. A salad came with the steak and it was wilting and had brown pieces already. We ordered a macaroni and cheese to try and it was very similar to the Kraft box that you make on the stove. This order was placed online. I went in a few minutes early to pick it up and it seemed like it may have been ready for a while. It's tricky when you're given a pick up time and this happens. I feel like I came too late to get it because the food was cold and fries were totally flimsy by the time I got it home which is down the street. We did not end up finishing this food and it felt like a waste for a $50 order.

::Love the restaurant aesthetics of black bears indoor/outdoor and gifts souvenirs. Food is good with fresh squeeze orange juice on-site. Also love their coffee and breakfast menu. Fun experience.

::It was out first time at Black Bear Diner. The most surprising part was the portions. Lives up to to its name 🐻. Pancakes French toast everything is huge 😁. You should go here if you’re very hungry. Service was decent. The bear decor is wonderful place. Kids will enjoy.

::Perfection. It was our first time to Black Bear Diner and I think it’s our new local favorite. We enjoyed “The Grizz” breakfast with Swedish pancakes and they were heavenly. The hash browns were perfectly cut and cooked. If I had one recommendation it would be to make the bacon crisp. When it’s too soft it’s chewy : ( Everything was delicious from the coffee to the toast. The toast was actually the BEST I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Service was top notch. Our friendly server, David The Great One, didn’t miss a beat. He was prompt to greet us, served our food piping hot and didn’t overwhelm us by serving the main meal at the same time as the pancakes. The restaurant was warm, clean, welcoming and comfortable. Another server at the next table was able to accommodate his customers by speaking in their language and we just felt that the overall vibe was splendid. I told my daughter that it felt a lot like waking up in the morning and going downstairs to your warm kitchen and having a perfect breakfast served. She agreed.

::Stopped here to grab breakfast while waiting to pick up a friend. Menu's look like a newspaper where the front tells the story of the diner and the inside is the menu. Food is good and very large portions. I had a Southern Scramble and hot chocolate. (Took half of it back to my friend). Waitress was really nice and restaurant looked clean. They even have a little gift shop with the Black Bear logo. Didn't pick up a desert, but they are made in large bowls and look delicious. Hours have been shorten m-f due to Covid and some staff shortage I would think... 🤔 As a side note, bathroom was also clean, which is a big plus.
