Don't let the atmosphere fool you, the food is great! Bread bowls are delicious, I had clam chowder! Shared a house salad, it's was fresh & I loved their vinaigrette!

What a great little sandwich shop on Funky 4th Ave! Thank goodness for the completely shaded, cooled dog-friendly patio, with a bar, cold beer and great service. We love that they will let you order only half of any of their gigantic sandwiches, which only means you can taste more sandwiches! The green turkey and ruben were fantastic. Great job Bison Witches!

The place was very busy, so I was pleased with how quickly the food was brought out. Good selection, nothing really original though. Venue was also very loud and not clean. Portions are large and filling.

First off: I'm biased. This has always been one of my favorite places for a drink and a bite to eat. Admittedly my consumption of their food is always paired with something that probably lowers my standards. They make my favorite Bloody Mary if you're into those. Their sandwiches are well portioned and their soup bowls save you a trip and the expense of the Renaissance Fair. I'm always happy when I eat here and the crowd downtown is good entertainment. I sincerely hope they stay in business... I'd hate for another chain to move into one of the most "Tucson" areas in Tucson.

Been coming here for over 20 years. The food is still awesome, delicious, big sandwiches and of course the amazing soup in bread bowls. Service is decent. Only downfall is the size of the restaurant. If your clostrophobic, you may want to consider ordering to go, it's a tight squeeze to the tables around the bar.
