  I was a patient at this hospital and the staff verbally abused patients including myself. The staff mocked patients by imitating them and repeating what the mentally ill patients were shouting. The nurses neglected to help an elderly man with his diabetic toe that needed the gauze changed for over 24 hours putting him at risk of severe infection. There was a woman with a colostomy bag who was not allowed to change her bag frequently because the staff thought she was apparently “wasting their bags.” There is no heating in this hospital or it’s rooms so patients including the elderly are at risk for pneumonia and bronchitis which my own roommate acquired while at Bellflower community hospital. The pads that are given at this hospital for people who menstruate do not stick and are practically useless. The showers are covered with dirt and sandals are not provided to shower safely incase of infection from a cut on foot or toe fungus. The hospital in particular is not trained for patients with autism such as myself. The toilets were unable to flush for an entire day after a pipe burst. A fire alarm went off in which we were not evacuated after a staff burnt something in the microwave!!! The doctors released patients without a prescription and dumped the homeless patients out on the streets without a place to go. These patients were still talking to themselves and hearing voices when they were released!!! I will be doing everything in my power to take legal action against this hospital and have it scrapped from top to bottom with aid from the health department and authorities and replaced with a competent staff or just have it completely shut down for the safety of the public. Never send your family member here!!

  I loved the attention the staff at this hospital gives. I have nothing but great experiences here.

  Someone needs to get the Department of Health on them. Just got out of there as a patient after not being promptly and properly diagnosed. Not professional at all.

  Horrible place staff called my brother n word and also staff IS NOT DIVERSE AT ALL i would never recommend this place one nurse was very sweet by the name Jeneatte and a very nice security guard i think her name was tirah other then that horrible place with rude staff
