::It’s impossible to speak to a live BofA person at my nearest branch.

::On the 13th of September, I sold my only car to a dealership. I went to the Bank of America (7024 W Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton, Fl, 33433) to deposit my check. I have specifically asked if the funds will available the next day, the teller confirmed, “yes, the funds will be available tomorrow morning.” That evening (hours later) I have received an email, saying the funds won’t be available until the 22nd (in 9 days). I have called costumer service clearly explaining my situation, and emphasizing the urge of having the funds on my account, as the way I was making money was tied to my car, which I had no choice, but to sell; and I do not have money on my account to feed myself in the next 9 days. The customer service representative just continued on explaining to me the technical process of processing a check. I asked to speak to a manager. Another hour passed, I was connected to the manager, who told me I need to wait a night, call tomorrow and ask for verification department, they should be able to help me. That’s exactly what I did, the next morning I called at 10am to Bank of America. I was connected to a customer service representative and repeated my situation, then 1 hours of wait followed, then the representative informed that they are unable to help me. I asked to speak to the manager, which, after two hours of wait, I was never able to get a hold of. I was advise that the only thing I can do is to go to the dealer myself and ask them for the proof that the funds were written to me, then go back to the bank where I deposited the check, and ask them to call the verification department, and they MIGHT be able to help me. I sold my car at CARMAX. This is a big company, not a private person. I have explained multiple times, the urgency of me having the fund of the account, yet the Bank refused to help me out. Again, Carmax is a big company; it is not like there are no funds on their bank account. I am not able to support and feed myself for the next week, I don’t have a car, I am stuck at home with an empty refrigerator. I don’t have a check and I have no funds. I hope this story will allow people to open their eyes, and see how inhumane the corporate America actually is. There are no morals; there are just policies in place. And if the policy wasn’t disclaimed, they are sorry for inconvenience, in other words, it’s good to detox anyway….

::Best branch of Bank of America I have ever used! Stephanie is wonderful, helpful, and always in positive spirits and so is the rest of the staff. I am so glad this branch has reopened.

::I have been banking here for nearly 20 years. Despite the fact that I only walk in about once every 2-3 years, the manager, Portia Ali, always knows who I am and greets me warmly. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are consistent and stable. I would highly recommend this bank.

::My husband and I went here to take care of my Dad's estate and Cheyenne was our representative. She went above and beyond to help us during this tough time losing my Dad and not knowing where to begin. I have not ever had such great attention at any bank.
