::Over rated too sweet cupcakes that doesn't have complex flavors as they market it to be. The pistachio one is good but the cardamom overpowers whatever flavors it's suppose to have. The cookies are too sweet too.

::Having dealt with crowds and rain all week on my vacation, I decided to do my own cupcake wars for a day of entertainment. I picked Georgetown Cupcakes, Sprinkles, and Wired and Baked. I tasted each and give reviews accordingly. First off, Bake and Wired is the largest venue and has a cool vibe that invites you to come in and relax. Secondly, Baked and Wired has a lot of flavors! They all sounded so great and looked great. Third, Baked and Wired has the biggest cupcakes which is something that should be noted. When it comes to taste my favorite "cupcake" came from Sprinkles. My favorite cupcake consistency came from Georgetown. Here is my review of the Baked and Wired cupcake. They are big. They are hard to eat without a fork because of the size. And I felt there was more cake than frosting for it. The cake is more dense than the other two cupcake shops. To be scientific I should have gotten similar flavors but I didn't. So: Sprinkles: best taste Georgetown: best cupcake consistency Wired: biggest

::The best "Georgetown cupcake." Though the lines have lengthened with it's rising popularity, staff is kind, efficient and still offers the best flavors with large items and the perfect frosting to cake ratio. Check out the excellent coffee bar to the right when you enter (FYI you don't need to stand in the long line for coffee, but can go right in!).

::Their cupcakes are moist and large in size. There could be more frosting on them for as much as you pay. They have creative flavors on the menu. Each flavor is a different kind of party in your mouth. The cupcakes are above average quality but not the best ever. I personally think they could add more solid flavors that are less whimsical. Overall, the cafe was a hipster vibe going for it. Staff is friendly. But, the coffee itself seems overpriced for the average quality.

::The best cupcakes in the DMV!! I try to go when I’m nearby. Better than Georgetown Cupcake, trust me! The Elvis cupcake is my favorite. The desserts are HUGE and perfect for sharing. I recommend getting a few cupcakes to share with friends and have a taste of each! They have many different options to accommodate taste preferences as well as dietary restrictions. The line can get long at times so be prepared to wait for the goodness. The coffee is good but the cakes are better.
