::Great accommodation! The double room is very spacious with a desk area and a couch! Our room was in the 4th floor with a good view of the university area! The location is very convenient with a lot of bus stops near and good selection of restaurants and dessert places! Very close to the capitol building and some museums. We we’re staying there because of a conference but this is a great option for when you are planning your vacation to Austin!

::I stayed at AT&T for 3 days last week on room 6045. Before we were at 4th floor and there’s a problem with bath tub. The lady let us change the room to 6th floor that there was a king bed. ( My hubby accidentally booked with double bed, so I enjoyed a king bed like usual.) Honestly facility is little outdated but not old fashion. Very clean and clean smell. I am very good at catching up any scent but it was mostly clean. Especially I slept very well and it is unusual. So I found out this hotel is super quiet with clean bedding. All staffs were very nice and kind. I’d like to give 10 stars if it allows.

::Very fancy rooms: lots of natural light, nice views, ironing stuff, bathrobes, lots of space. Pool was heated, and still usable in late November. Gym was very well equipped for a hotel. Wifi (inc. eduroam) available throughout. Breakfast not included. But also pretty expensive (at least for my taste).

::Hotel is nice, clean, and has facilities that I didn't get to fully explore, but look like a great bonus to staying here. Why I selected 4 stars: They don't mention to you that they charge you for parking while you stay. They only mentioned that my card would be charged for parking when I was checking out. The rate is $21 a night, so tack that on to your total.

::While the hotel itself is nice (entry foyer is stunning, and conveniently located on the campus of UT)… it is nothing special. The hotel only has 3 onsite restaurants—one is a kiosk only for coffee and pastries open mornings; one is closed on Sunday and Monday; the third is a glorified bar (with no bar stools) with a limited menu that may seat about 50 crowded people. The option for in-room dining is that you call to this restaurant and order a take out meal and go pick it up yourself to eat out of a bag. Not what I would expect from a high end hotel that hosts large numbers of people for conferences. Leaving the hotel to walk anywhere after dark is dangerous as there is a homeless population that has a history of causing problems for the guests of this hotel. The individual rooms were ok. Other than the provided bathrobe, the room is no better appointed than a Hilton or Marriott. I guess I expected to be wowed since the rating of this hotel is so high. On the positive side, the front desk clerks were super friendly and helpful, as were the valets. Overall, for the cost of this hotel, lack of amenities, and disappointing appointments, we will not be back.
