  Absolutely ridiculous. There is MAJOR construction happening on the property that is attached to this one. Our room was adjacent to it and the construction started very early (before dawn) with what sounded like girders falling, hammering, etc. No disclaimer for the hotel when we booked, no apologies for two nights of no sleep. I don't think there is a single room in this hotel where you wouldn't hear the construction... I say this because it seemed like every time we went by the front desk there were other guests asking to be moved or for refunds. Avoid at all costs.

  Rooms were on the smaller side. No mini fridge. They put me in a room right next to construction so it was very loud and made it hard to rest. Front desk service seemed slow. The bed was comfortable. Free HBO and SHO on demand was nice Location is next to the university so if your there for that it's a good location. Otherwise, there are much nicer areas to stay in Austin. I didn't dine at any of the restaurants in the hotel. But there was a variety of places near by.

  Very nice hotel, clean rooms, overly nice staff, including the staff at the hotel attached to it (the Omni) I was checking in by Peleg who was so warm and sweet. She went above and beyond to make sure she took care of me and even upgraded my room because of how pleasant our conversation was. I have stayed here a few times, as my company books trips to austin at minimum 4 times a year and the stays have always been pleasant. The drinks at the rooftop bars are amazing as well.

  This hotel is great if you're traveling alone. It's clean and looks very modern. The staff is really nice. This hotel is terrible if you are traveling with a partner / spouse. The room we stayed in didn't have a door separating the bathroom from the rest of the very small room. This means you can't poop without the entire room hearing you. I had to kick out my boyfriend from the room but it was kinda awkward and felt pretty unnecessary. I won't be staying at AC Hotels moving forward if I'm not traveling alone given this weird toilet / bathroom layout.

  A nice hotel convenient to the university and downtown. Convenient parking and a super staff. It can be a little confusing at first since a couple hotels share the same building but once inside it is easy to navigate as they share the same bars, and restaurant facilities. Room was modern and clean and a hotel I definitely would return to over several other locations near by.
