ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. Wish I could give negative stars. I have only written a handful of reviews in my life, and those were only for instances when I felt that customer service was exceptional. I have never felt compelled to write a poor review, ever. I think I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and to dwell on poor service and spout my experiences just isn't me. This particular vendor, however, deserves an exception. I purchased an iPhone with a new line at this Bay Shore location at full price. Twelve days later I returned to the same location to purchase a flip phone with a new line for a young child. Always anxious to push a more expensive option, the salesperson informed me that a promotion would enable me to purchase an iPhone 8 with a new line at half price. I asked how long that promotion had been going on, as I had just purchased a single new iPhone 8 with a new line 12 days ago from the same store and was not informed of the special. Guess what? The special coincidentally started the day AFTER I had made my recent purchase. As the phone was still in its returnable period, I asked if the salesperson could issue a half refund on the 12 day-old new phone. He insisted he couldn't do ANYTHING and recommended I call customer service, which was just a way of sidestepping my questions. I insisted that the reason I went out of my way to come to his store was FOR customer service. Very reluctantly, the salesperson called AT&T's customer service line. An hour elapsed during which time the call was transferred from representative to representative, from supervisor to supervisor. Finally, the "top" supervisor informed me that while he hated to be this blunt especially as I was calling from inside the store on the salesperson's phone, the salesperson in the store -- the very one I had been dealing with for over an hour and who insisted that there was "nothing" he could do -- was, in fact, the ONLY person who could issue any kind of credit or refund. He went on to say that the whole call to customer service was a ruse by the store salesperson to appear responsive and helpful, which clearly he had no interest in truly being. I asked him to repeat what he had said. The phone supervisor re-confirmed that the sales rep was totally lying to me about being powerless to issue the refund/credit. For some context, let me say that I have SEVEN devices attached to my monthly AT&T plan and that I have been with the company since the early to mid 1990s, since the company was called Cingular. As a longtime customer in good standing with a significant monthly bill who was clearly looking to expand services, why would a salesperson refuse to be decent? Why couldn't the salesperson honor a promotion in the phone grace period? Why does a phone purchase have to feel like a slimy sales transaction that leaves one feeling suspicious, cheated and abused? Do not bring your business to this location unless you are comfortable with sleazy, underhanded sales tactics. Oh, at least two reviews posted here are from salespeople, not customers.

Told that we would receive a certain price, and spent months on the phone arguing with representatives. Was told that we'd pay less than $190 a month, and ended up with a bill of over $260 per month. Spent months arguing with AT&T about our bill, and after 1 year of Hell with AT&T, I am finally done with the migraines that came from dealing with this company.

Everyone is nice BUT they don't tell you about early termination costs, activation fees. Got free watch and associate said, if you don't want to activate it just cancel after a month of trying it. Didn't say there was an early termination fee of 150.00 or once you sign up its on a 2 year contract. From now on will go to an AT&T company store AND in two years will be ending AT&T cellphone service. Ask about fees, contracts and early termination costs. One star is too many
