::Found several good reviews here for John's work at his company, Arlington Music (formerly Arlington Guitar Works), so decided to try him out. Had an acoustic/electric guitar that the preamp wasn't working correctly on. Brought it in on Saturday, he worked on it and fixed it Sunday, and we picked up Monday morning. Works great, he also polished & dressed the frets, cleaned and oiled the fretboard and checked the setup to make it worth the shop minimum. Very reasonable, and very pleased with the work. Will be taking my guitars to him in the future.
