  Adorable set up and decor with absolutely excellent service. Had a slight slight mix up with our order and the waitress was kind enough to bring us out another glass of wine! Loved sitting in a window booth and people watching.

  I was going to meet a friend here at 6:30pm for drinks and appetizers, but was refused a table - even at the bar - because I couldn't promise that we would be ordering a full dinner. This was in an empty restaurant with no visible 'reserved' signs on any tables. I've gone to the midtown location many times, ordering dinner sometimes, and just wine and appetizers other times, and always been treated warmly by a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. We ended up going down the street to the Otheroom and had a nice time. Then, upon leaving, we walked past Aria again, and the same host who refused to seat us was aggressively chasing down a customer on the sidewalk for some 'infraction' she had committed. Whoever owns Aria, you should be taking a hard look at the people you're hiring. This level of rudeness and disregard for customers is unacceptable. My husband and I have had some nice meals in the past at the downtown location, but we will not be back after this display. Even if there is an official policy on 'dinner only' seatings, there are certainly more customer-friendly, less aggressive ways to handle it.

  Aria is ideal for sharing an intimate, meaningful experience with a romantic partner, family member or good friend. Comforting aromas permeate the candlelit environment, which is quintessentially cozy. Despite closely positioned tables and its invariable full-occupancy, Aria retains its rustic, intimate vibe. The array of Italian small plates are exceptional in taste and excellent for sharing. Portions trend small but the contents heavy, so order plentifully but cautiously. A professional but relatable wait staff further enhance a consistently fantastic Aria experience.

  Wow what a fabulous restaurant! We had walked by a number of times and finally decided to stop in. The food was outstanding, and they had a great wine selection. The staff was very friendly and accommodating even though we didn't have a reservation

  One of my favorite places. Delicious and always busy. Staff is very friendly , fast and professional (especially Russian waiter! always takes into account my wishes) thank you!
