Howe's Fishing
::For our purposes, place was a great choice. Located very conveniently, especially for the North and West side of the valley. Great trail system just on the other side of the property. Pretty quiet at night, well lit, all the hookups were in good shape and easy to use. Easy to get into, just off I-70. It's a user friendly place and will definitely return.

::The worst experience at a “campground”. I’m not even sure how they can call this place an RV resort, it looks more like a run down mobile home park. It’s basically a gravel parking lot, with hook ups. Zero grass for pets to use the bathroom. Situated in the middle of a neighborhood, the only views you get are of your neighbors, which are literally an arms distance away. You don’t even want to leave your blinds open because there is zero privacy here. Way overpriced, there are much nicer RV resorts in Colorado. Disappointed this is how we are spending our cross country road trip after having visited much nicer RV parks. Those that gave this place more than a 1 star rating must have never seen an actual RV resort before..we stayed 1 night and found a MUCH nicer RV Resort 10 minutes away to finish off our road trip.

::The person at the desk was very helpful. The bathrooms and laundry were clean. The cost per nite ($91) was way too high for this campground. It is basically a gravel lot with hookups. Sites are very close together. They only have 30 amp but the plug is 50 amp. This is so not right. When you make the reservation they only tell you that it is 30 amp.

::I wish we could give more stars ... Lots of positives, but the couple of negatives were big. Very clean park, helpful and friendly staff, proximity to Arvada and I 70, were great. However, upon pulling in, the electric and water were on opposite sides of the RV than the sewer which were a minor inconvenience. The big negative happened at night. We were woken throughout the night by overwhelming sewage odors. Closing the windows and turning off the vent fans did help, but the odor was still there intermittently. The next morning while walking the dogs we noticed the strong sewer odor was throughout the park. I honestly wouldn't want to stay here again, which is a shame. The full timers were all very friendly and the neighboring park, lake and walking path were beautiful.

::I loved this park so much. It was no-frills and the spots were a little tight but everyone was so friendly and made it feel homey. Perfect central location for visiting the surrounding areas of Denver and Boulder. The laundry room had plenty of machines and was very clean. They have a huge selection of DVDs and books to borrow, I thought that was a nice addition. There's a beautiful city park with cool biking and hiking trails as well as a little playground within walking distance of the park. The perfect spot to spend 2 weeks!
