::In my opinion, one of the best South Indian veg restaurant that I visited in Alpharetta is Amma's kitchen. Reminded me of home. They have reasonable pricing, home style food, excellent taste without compromise on quality. Was full but didn't feel heavy at all post dinner. Must try: Vada, Mysore masala dosa, Idli

::My rating is for the veg thali, itβs very nice for the price. Poriyal combo , sambar, curd, sweet , pickle for $9. Taste is really good. I have also tried tiffin items and they are good.

::A place for authentic home made style South Indian food. Have been here more than 3 times and every single time I had no regrets having food here. The food here is amazing with great quantity and at a very reasonable price compared to Aunty's Kitchen near by which is deteriorating day by day. A great and fitting competitor considering the level and speed of service offered. The first time I tried Paneer Dosa and as the name says it's just Dosa with shredded Paneer filling in place of Masala. The dosa was too good and moist unlike the dry Dosas we get at other places. The paneer was just shredded and added and literally no spice/ salt nothing. Had a plate of samosas as well. Wasn't that great but the chutneys were good. The next time I went for lunch on a Saturday, it was too crowded and hard to find a place. We got a Thali and it was just Wow to me! Was craving for Thali for quite some days and found this pure home style Veg Thali which included Pappu, Sambar, Gulab jamun, curd, pickle and 2 curries. There's a great demand for the thali here for its reasonable price and quality. The next time had Onion Dosa and they ran out of Sambar which I loved the most. I'm glad they atleast clarify the wait times and non availability of food up front than making us wait for hours like Auntys kitchen who gives a standard 40minute wait time to everyone. Had Badam milk along side this and it tasted great and subtle as well. No extra sugar or any colors as I could see. Just mashed Badam and milk and the food stays so grounded. The quality is all the more excellent which makes me revisit frequently. The ambience is simple and nothing special. The tables are kept clean more often than being piled up like Auntys kitchen and the plates are taken away as soon as we are done thus making way for other customers to occupy in no time. Weekends are a lot busy especially during lunch times so be prepared for a wait time of atleast 20-30 minutes to get a table for 2 or 4. BOTTOMLINE: A great place for home made style authentic Andhra-TN (South Indian) food that's delicious, priced reasonable, filling and doesn't bother your tummy. Crowded on weekends as it's close to the temple. MUST TRY: Veg Thali, Dosa varieties, Badam milk

::Very homely food! Like their Thali. They are pretty quick at their orders. Good location with big parking space.

::This kitchen has many varieties of south Indian varieties. Many varieties of dosas are available. Spice levels are suitable for any person of origin. Taste is very decent and not too pricey. There are some snack items like Mirchi, Punugulu etc but they appear to be very costly as per their listed price. Overall, it's definitely worth to go and keep coming because of their good taste.
