::I stayed in this hotel for only one night. This is the first time for me to book a room at the Aloft property, and I am very pleased with the modern design of the hotel. My room - larger than my expectation - was very clean and quiet, and the room is equipped with a large TV and comfortable bedding. I waited for two minutes before somebody showed up and checked me in; check out was smooth. I was allowed to stay in the lobby to work on my laptop for two hours after checking out. I bookmarked this hotel, hoping to stay again in the future.

::I the hotel was good but I had to check out a day early due my son being diagnosed with leukemia. I had told them I was leaving a day early because they were transferring my son to a cancer hospital and they told me that was fine I would not be charged for it. Needless to say I was charged and now that I’m back in Michigan I have called twice about this and left messages explaining this both times and was told someone would get back to me. Of course no one has and my credit card has not been refunded the extra night that I was not there.

::I stayed Sept 25 (arrived after midnight). I arrived late, the front desk was empty and there was another person waiting to check in. We both waited for several minutes, we called out in the "employee only" hallway, walked around, etc., looking for someone. We both called the hotel direct number several times. Someone finally showed up, I got checked in and went to my room. This was my first stay at an aloft property. I don't know if the decor is the norm, but I hated the dim lighting, the creepy black and dark colored walls, and that was just the walk from the elevator to my room. My room was dim, even with all the lights on. It was not clean, one of the beds looked as if someone had been lying on it. The bathroom was smelly and there was fecal matter in the toilet. There was a weird and overpowering smell of some sort of cheap air freshener in the room so bad I had to cover my nose with my shirt. It was 2 am and I was too tired to try and find the guy again and see if I could get another room since I was getting up at 6 am. I am a lifetime platinum member and stay at a lot of Marriott properties, some great, some ok, but this one was by far the worst. I found the whole experience completely disgusting.

::Modern rooms, pool table and a great bar! Lisa at the bar was awesome. The front desk and young lady behind the grill were fantastic! So far the all around best hotel I've been to and I have been traveling quite a bit! Looking forward to coming back.

::I was only in town for one night for a corporate event and given the proximity to the venue, the rate, and the reviews, I chose to stay at Aloft. I had previously stayed at the Aloft property in Nashville several years ago and was pleased, so I felt comfortable with my choice in Alpharetta. My room, though small and on the first floor, was everything that I needed. (I formally traveled quite a bit for business, but this was my first time in a hotel since the pandemic.) The room was very clean and quiet, had a nice waterfall shower head, desk space, large TV with many options and comfortable bedding. Check in was super easy, as was check out. My only, very small, issue was that my room didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign, so I was interrupted twice. This wasn't a big issue though since I was traveling alone and was up and about both times. Thank you very much for a near perfect stay.
