  I will say this, a trust worthy repair shop can be hard to come by, but the guys here did a great job. My 05 audi which had pretty bad oil leak in several places which was causing smoke to appear from the engine bay was finished quickly and smoothly, parts were ordered and literally the same day car was done. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks

  I needed a total transmission repair in a right timeframe. I called shops all over Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Jersey and nobody’s quote was lower than Active Auto. In fact, I saved over $500 opting to choose Active Auto and he gave me a transmission with ZERO MILES ON IT WITH AN-UNDER-TWO-DAY TURNAROUND. Incredible work. Great place.

  I had to use Active Auto for towing and a transmission replacement. The tow was fast and reasonably priced. I opted for a used transmission for savings over a factory-rebuilt transmission. I received a 6 months/ parts and labor warranty with the repair. The first transmission was quickly changed but was faulty and went out within a month. I called and they changed it again in 4 days, at no extra charge because of the warranty. Currently, everything is fine. I will use them again because of their honesty and reasonable prices.

  I had to ask them to tow my daughter's car, as I don't live in NYC and was at the mercy of their diagnosis and repair- hoping it was thorough, quick, and a fair price. All this occurred and I was very happy and pleased. They were honest, reliable, and expedient.

  These guys are great and have always been great. They are very honest and reasonable and go out of their way to provide the best service. I will update this review with more specifics when I get my vehicle back next week!
