::Sale items are normally a very good price. Every day prices are a bit high.

::I feel like we don't get as much groceries for the prices we spend. I mean sometimes they have good deals like they have a deal on friendlies ice cream where at $4.99 a gallon or half gallon you can buy 2 and get an additional 3 packages free. So $10 for 2 containers and 3 more free OR $2 for 5 containers. Great if you have a lot of space in your freezer. But everything else is expensive like I got a pound (a single pound) of cherries and spent $4.

::I actually like this Acme better than when it was Pathmart. My only grip about this location and I usually don't get it from the others is that when asking where they might have a promotion their response is that it didn't come in. It's close to my house but there are others.

::Not the same as former Pathmark. For starters, Acme has only one shopping cart stall per 3 parking aisles, and the stalls are so far away from the building, the people just leave the carts all over the parking lot. Selections are OK, but organization is a mess. I took chicken from the freezer with a sale label. The label was in the wrong place, but one employee insulted me for not reading the (fine) print on the big sign. They double the price then put up a "buy one take one" sign. Laughable indeed for a regular shopper who knows the original price. Sea food is the most expensive compared to other stores. The plastic bags rip easily and it's worse when cashier doesn't double bag the heavy stuff like gallon water and juices and the items fall out of ripping bags. And the annual Monopoly board game with tickets/coupons given to you at the rate of 1 per $10 purchase --- is impossible to win. A waste of time for shopper but good scam for ACME. There are winning coupons for several items, but...you guessed it: the items are either non existent or out of stock. Other more expensive brands are there for you to take and pay for. I wish there was a competing store like Shoprite in this neighborhood.
