  What a horrible place to shop. The Family Dollar store in Bayonne on Broadway is way better. As you enter the store, it looks gloomy and unpleasant. To be honest a bit dirty. Only one female staff member was nice. The rest who are hispanic were very rude and they do not care for the customers. The manager does not care either. They do not care if you are standing a long period on line or if you need help with something. I am not being racist, I am Hispanic myself. They really need to train their staff better. What a horrible place.

  Ive been shopping here since in moved to bayonne ive had no issues as of yet i enjoy shopping here prices are desent and customer service as well .

  the manager is a talker whenever I visit the store I hear them talking to each other they are also racists they discriminate against Puerto Ricans. it shows their hatred. just by treating you badly you ask for help and they never give it to you I went to this store and they made fun of me They offended me, they treated me very badly. I tell myself that he doesn't like our Puerto Rican people, I answered him, that's called discrimination.

  Usually a pleasant experience. The review in quotes is last time I had reviewed this story. Since than I will admit the atmosphere has changed for the better and do not feel mistreated while shoppng at family dollar. Still some need lighten up. It's a store not a morgue. "The only times I do not feel welcomed, and very uncomfortable shopping is when a certain employee is working."

  This store has been reorganized and no longer has the odor which greeted you at the door. Its been cleaned organized, no longer cluttered. The store can reach five stars, what's hindering a top rating is the checkout process. Always long lines and one cashier. Maybe management should have at two registers open, especially on a Saturday!
