  I have been Twice to give this place an opportunity to invite me back. However, I will no longer come here, ever. The waitress gave us unsweetened tea when we asked for sweet tea and told us just to put the packet sugar in it when we tried to correct her. That was the first time. This time, our easy over eggs were over cooked and the grits were not up to the standard I am used to from waffle houses. Our ticket was confusing and incorrect. After we paid we wanted a to go box for the remainder of our food yet she never brought it to us and while my wife and I were distracted threw away the food we wanted to take home, without asking and ignored us until we left. She did however bring me my baby's bottle that I left behind; the only good service we received tonight. 40.00 wasted. Do not expect satisfaction here.

  I'm absolutely disgusted. I came here today to eat and sat at the bar, I ordered my food like normal and while sitting there the woman cook was wearing gloves, but was touching RAW FOOD (BACON,SAUSAGE) AND THEN LITERALLY TOUCHING EVERY COOKED PIECE OF FOOD THAT WAS FINISHED WITH THE SAME GLOVES. I am so furious. ECOLI AND BACTERIA THRIVE IN THOSE CONDITIONS. Everything she touched had raw meat residue, including my plate!! I will never eat here again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. THE OWNER AND MANAGER MUST NOT TRAIN THEIR EMPLOYEES BASED ON THE HEALTH DEPARTMENTS STANDARDS TO FOLLOW. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS LOCATION FOR AN OVERVIEW OF HEALTH SAFETY. IVE GOT PICTURES OF THIS INCIDENT AND WILL SUE IF I GET SICK FROM THIS LACK OF HEALTH CONSCIOUS.

  Everytime I'm in Lexington I stop here. Not because I love the food, but because I love the staff. The food is great, but the staff is even better. Thank you Mae, for introducing me to waffle house and always making it pleasant when I stop in. Thank you to everyone else as well, but I can't remember everyone's names.

  It was my first time at waffle house. It was about 1:30 in the morning, you know to get the "real" waffle house experience. We come in the restaurant and we sit down. The waitress gave me and my friend attitude when she asked us for the order. When we ordered our food, it took the food about 10 minutes to come out. The food was slammed onto our table. I am not over exaggerating. No longer than 5 seconds after our food arrived, the waitress literally yelled at the cook for a good 2 minutes. I felt really bad for the guy. I would normally give a place like that a one star, but the waffle and hash brown were so damn good, I gave it two extra stars.
