::I hired Roy Rodas to install moldings and install pre-finished Oak flooring and new railing, balusters & retrofit treads in Sept.2016 promised to be completed by November. They installed the molding and never were able to schedule or complete the rest of the work. I am now awaiting return of money for work not rendered and getting no response. Stay away! April 5th 2017 - Update, I hired another flooring company in January 2017 to finish the job now completed and my lawyer will be taking him to court as he is not returning my calls or attempts to return money for work not performed.

::Roy, the owner, is a very nice guy. But the good will he generated by being nice and sounding knowledgeable about construction soon disappears when he disappears. We contracted for $12,000 of work. The work should have been done in 1 week. It took over 2 months to have some of the the work done. There were weeks when it was impossible (impossible, not just difficult) to speak with Roy who basically runs all of his jobs. He was literally unreachable by phone or text or email. How is that possible? His crews showed up when not scheduled and didn't show up when they were scheduled. I came home one Saturday with an outside project completely done. The crew wasn't supposed to be there that day. The work that eventually got done was, overall, OK. One somewhat challenging part had to be redone by another carpenter. I am now having trouble with a hardwood floor he sanded and finished. I was told on 10/17 that I would not be able to speak with him until after 10/26. What? Where is he? On the moon? This is very unfortunate because he is nice but the nice guy ship has sailed.
