  I needed my dryer and dishwasher fixed. Vertex fixed my dryer quick and easy and did a good job on that but when I called to follow up about the dishwasher they said I didn't pay for the dryer. The technician has us issue the check to him and not the company so luckily Vertex was able to resolve this issue but they gave us the run around for the dishwasher for over a month. They didn't return phone calls when they say they would and were just difficult to talk to because the story kept changing. After calling them many times over a few weeks without an update, they said they ordered the dishwasher part and that it was being delivered the next day and they would call us. No call came and when we called back after a week, we found out that it's all of a sudden backordered and would be another few weeks. We had enough of this back and fourth so we called Miele, the company for which the dishwasher was from, and they said Vertex hadn't placed any parts orders at all. Not going to bother with following up with them and I know we won't get a call in response either. Beyond frustrating.

  I called and was able to schedule an appointment the same day. They charged $400 (including a $190 part) for 10 minutes worth of work (at most!!).
