  I was very unhappy with the lense I received as it was not the quality I was informed of it being. However, after talking to whom I think was a manager of Roberts cameras and then the owner of Used Photo Pro, I am VERY PLEASED. They are completely taking care of the problem and replacing my lense with a better one for no extra charge. Probably the best customer service I've ever felt with once I finally got to talk to these two gentlemen!

  This is the used side of Roberts Camera. It's a great place that's almost a mini museum in parts. Then there's the great staff and the huge selection of lightly used, modern digital bodies and lenses at great prices. This is the best camera store in the Midwest.

  I've purchased a couple of used items from here and am completely satisfied. The descriptions of their equipment are honest and their prices are extremely reasonable. What really got me to try them is the warranties that come with equipment even though it's used. I've even called them a few times for advice on the appropriate lenses to use under various conditions - and the staff always has gone out of their way to be helpful. I am a very satisfied customer.

  I have been buying from Robert's since 2008. I have been buying mostly used equipment although i did purchase the panasonic dmc G7k recently new. A month ago i bought an Olympus omd-em5. I wanted to see the difference between the panasonic mft and the olympus so in the beginning the Em5 was my 2nd camera to shoot with. than i realized just how good olympus was. After shooting with the em5 and a 60mm macro lens at garfield observatory. The only problem i had was the buttons on the em5 and the hand grip as well so i looked into the Omd-Em1. I liked it so much i started saving so i could get one instead. Little did i know i only had 14 days to return it to do so but i was thinking 30 days. Well today was day 30. I was informed that it had expired but i thought on returns it was 30 days. Jonathan said that he would take care of me This time, anyways. "Man was i happy." Roberts Used Dept is by far better then it ever has been especially with the new location setup off St. Clair. Take the Time and Visit them. Its worth it.   The worst place to sell or trade in your gear. They will offer you the lowest possible price that you can get. I took in two Sigma lenses, both of which were in mint condition and they offered me $300 for both. I sold one on craigslist for $300 and traded the other one in through Amazon for $250. Also, the used gear they sell is rated higher than what it should be. Moral - don't sell or purchase used gear from them.
