::A place with a great view. You can see Chrysler building and empire state building at the same time. However, it is a very very lousy place with respect to service. The service is slow and wih attitude. the bar is supposed to open at 4pm, but at 4:10 they only start with the cleaning and organizing. Unfortunately we didn't have the patience to see how long after 4:30 they would actually start serving.

::Great secret rooftop views from a Midtown essential. Make this your base-of-ops for touring the City and you can't go wrong. one block from the subway - close to MSG, and Times Square. The hotel is quite amazing with views of the ESB and (presumably) the Financial District if you face south (definitely from the roof on both).
