I was bringing in two Pre-paid packages. And normally (UPS and Fedex) will tape your pre-printed labels to the box. NOT USPS. They actually force you to buy their tape at $3.50 / roll. YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! Stop shopping with USPS and don’t support those companies that do. Save yourself the time and trouble and use UPS or Fedex instead. #USPS #UPS #Fedex

Dreadful. From the USPS website: "International money orders are convenient and secure ways to send money internationally. They can be purchased at any Post Office (tm) location in values up to $700. You can pay for your money order with cash, debit card, or traveler's checks." First, we go to one post office in Worthington, which says only this location does money orders. I guess that was a lie, too. My best friend, a New Zealand exchange student, needs a money order to pay for an apartment. This is the only (and best) way to access money from an international bank, in large sums at once. He walks in, only to be told that he needs proof of a permanent residence in the United States for a money order. The lady behind the counter says his visa, his F1, his pay stubs, his passport, nothing he has is adequate proof because it's not US-issued documents. She says his United States /visa/ isn't a US-issued document. He needs a permanent residence in the United State for a money order... When you need a money order to get a permanent residence. She offers no solutions, obviously trying to frustrate him enough to give up and leave. Excuse me? This is how visiting dignitaries and tourists often access their cash, so that's a lie. I go in, though, with my proof of address, and all of my information. As I talk to her, she tells me that these aren't approved documents either. I ask her what documents are. She refuses to elaborate and repeats that these aren't documents she can accept. So... What, the documents you "need" to "do your job" are a secret? Classified information? Could you at least be a little less *insulting* with your quality of lie? I stand there and provide her with my passport, my driver's license, letters addressed to me, more. She gives me some documents to fill out. I start to fill them out. As I do, she suddenly claims no, this location doesn't do international money orders. See the quote from the website above. I stare at her, silent, unbelieving, as a line forms behind us because of all this piddlefarting she's doing, having us stand there 20 some minutes trying to get a basic service... And she suddenly claims that her computer has locked up and she can't do any more transactions of any kind today. And, as far as I know, she closes that part of the post office on the spot, at 5 pm, because she asks people to leave. Dear god. I've had general troubles with the USPS before (even this location, between lost letters, letters returned to my address for no reason, lost PACKAGES, and mailing delays,) but nothing which has been so bad to make me passionately wish for its dissolution and the immediate termination of all its employees. Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. You may as well just burn whatever you need shipped, rather than trust these blazing incompetents with it.

Deserving of 0 stars, as are most post office locations. “Tia” was unhelpful, rude, and discourteous- this seems to be a trend among postal service employees. Not to mention that there was only ONE employee at one of their busiest locations. She was not even competent enough to perform the most basic of tasks for me, and said that I would have to “call and wait on hold”. Laughable, I’m here in person and willing to resolve an issue quickly and efficiently. To add insult to injury, they play dumb, acting as though they can’t perform simple changes on their system to resolve address issues. I’ll just reorder and take the $31 hit, it’s not worth wasting further time. I have no faith in their services or competency, and can’t wait for them to be phased out.

Desperately needs staffing. I got here to the passport center at 9am...there were already about 50-60 people waiting. It is now 11:54 and I’m still waiting. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes and per applicant. I don’t think they consider multi-applicant families. From 9 to 946, the number did not change. At one point, 2 people went to break at the same time. Awful experience!! I’d suggest more staffing AND more passport offices available on Saturdays so this location is not so saturated!

mailed a pkg overnight to Georgia on 1/10/18 - arrived in Georgia on 1/13/18. Was told it was held up because of bad weather - told her there was no bad weather on 1/10/18 ( I have printed weather info from 1/10/18 and 1/11/18 - in the mid 50's both days) and the pkg left Dayton on the worst day that week for bad weather, 1/12/18, the day we had rain, ice and snow. I was told no refund as it was because of bad weather. Told the clerk there was no bad weather when I mailed the package, and she replied oh yes there was and I am not giving you your money back. Asked for a manager, told me I had to come back as he was not there. Tried to finish the survey on line - (seems this zip is not valid at this post office and was told by another post office how to try and complete the survey). My father in law contacted another post office on the situation and was told we might as well file for the refund on line as we would not get any where with this branch. At this point it is principal - to be told it was the weather and when clerk knew it was not as she had to look it up twice and never anything on tracking as to why it was not delivered. Fed Ex and UPS will get my business from now on - at least they own up to their errors. Tried to give it zero stars but you cannot post without clicking on at least one star.
