  This the first and only Post Office I have ever been scanned to enter. I had to remove my rings, belts as well as my pockets empty in a toy basket. The rude lady told me we are in a federal building sir. News flash all post offices are federal buildings and I have never been harassed by a rent a cop before . Keep this up and the postal service will soon be losing money...oh wait nevermind .

  Good location around restaurants, tourist locations, hotels, and a Rouses grocery store. They have an efficient and friendly staff. They're not overly busy. So you can get in and get done with your business usually in a good time frame.

  Can we at least try to answer the phone occasionally? Why do we pay taxes for this service? Do your jobs people!

  Is it really necessary for the whole place to shut down an hour a day for lunch? Are staggered lunch breaks beyond the Post Office's capacity for understanding? I would have given the place one star for this reason alone (although there are many others), but I decided to bump it up to two because of the nice art-deco building it's housed in.

  Absolutely, hands-down the rudest woman on earth with zero customer service skills. Completely disappointing multiple times. I would walk my mail to the recipient before ever going back to the Lafayette square location.
