Best mattress ever. Best people ever. Biased review from a happy employee.

We bought this mattress back in June or July. I SO wanted to love this mattress that I kept telling myself it would get better - and initially it did the longer we slept on it. By the time we realized our error it was past the 100 days and too late to return it. This mattress is as hard as a rock! Once the first few months passed it stopped betting better and started getting worse. We toss and turn all night and wake up in pain every morning. My neck, shoulders, back, and hips hate me. I have headaches almost daily as a result. My husband rarely makes it through the night anymore and generally moves to the couch at some point. Less than a year after purchasing our new mattress we find ourselves in the exact same situation we were in with our cheapo $500 Costco mattress. I just want to sleep!

We bought this after looking at half a dozen options. We liked the idea of the 100 night sleep trial, especially since a bed in a box was a new experience for us. The bed arrived 2 days after ordering, neatly packaged. The first night, we didn't sleep so well. Primarily because we were analyzing every little thing - we just couldn't shut our brains off. However, after the first night, I started sleeping really well. I woke up without any back pain, I'm having less headaches, I have more energy, and I'm sleeping through the night. Unfortunately, my wife decided that it was just too hard after a few nights. She really wanted to make it work, but it was just too hard for her. After I chatted with T&N about returning it, they offered to send out a 2" topper to add some additional softness. It hasn't come yet, but they were so nice and understanding. We're both excited to try it. And the best part was that there was no pressure to keep the mattress and try the topper. We could still set up the return or keep it a bit longer and try the topper. And if that didn't work, it was still no problem to return the mattress. The bottom line is that it's a great mattress that is very well made and it's offered by a company that stands behind their product and offers excellent customer service. Definitely 5 stars.

We have had a Tuft and Needle mattress for 3-4 years now. We love it! It replaced a pillow top that started to sag within 2 years. By three years I felt like I personally was being swallowed and suffocated. Because the Tuft and Needle is flat, no raised edges. I don't feel like that. Our mattress has no sagging in the center. It has stayed true to it's shape! It stays comfortable temp wise as well. Never gets too hot nor stays cold. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a semi firm mattress. It has been a winner all the way for us. FYI, We do have it on a box spring. Furthermore. My DH got me one of the pillows as a birthday present. I had slept on a memory foam pillow for the past 5+ years. It would get too hot eventually. When it wore out. I replaced it with a poly fill. It went flat in 2 months. My Tuft and Needle is wonderful. I am a side sleeper. I am also a post menopausal woman. I don't burn up at night. Nor do I wake with a kinked neck! Like the mattress, it is semi firm. Not so firm I feel like I am sleeping on a rock. Not so soft I feel like it has grown arms trying to suffocate me;) One thing I would love to see. Is a leg pillow made the same way. Something that does not get too hot. JP
