::I went to this bank, in person, a week before, to tell them I would be out of town for six days. They made a "note" in my account and said everything would be good. I am now in Florida and have been stuck in the airport for 5 hours because my card will not work. I spoke to multiple people on the phone and nothing helped. I cannot rent a car and now I am being forced to use to Uber for the duration of this trip.

::Absolutely awful!! Wanted to open a credit card for Christmas shopping. I called about it and the guy said if your spouse wants to use it too they have to come in and sign. Went in before Thanksgiving it's now past Christmas and I STILL do not have a credit card. Because the guy that started the card for us put the whole thing in my spouses name instead of mine and then we find out my spouse has to be the one to request a card for me. We finally requested a card for me and now 3 weeks later we find out it was never even shipped yet! What a JOKE ! Who take liberties like that? I worked at a bank and someone would have been fired if they placed it in the wrong person name without asking the customer! Horrible service and horrible service on the shipping end too! Terrible terrible all around.

::I would give this bank negative stars if I could. My one and only interaction with these people was completely rude and unprofessional. I was cussed at and hung up on because apparently they donāt give out checks at this location (I donāt bank at this dumpster fire of a bank so I had no way of knowing that) this person went out of their way to call another professional establishment to curse and be nasty. Iāve never really experienced blatant unprofessionalism quite like that.

::STAY AWAY FROM TRUIST! If I could give this bank negative stars, I would. I began banking with Bank of Kentucky many years ago and after being hot potatoed to BBT and then Truist I determined Iām done with this bank. It has taken me 6+ trips to this bank to close the multiple accounts and credit lines I have. Every time I visited the bank there was another reason why I couldnāt close an account. I begged them to freeze all accounts, etc and thereās always an issue the next time I returned. On one of my last trips I was told by the banker all accounts were closed aside from one credit line. I provided a check to clear the balance and she stated sheād close the account the next day once it processed. I called the next day and that banker was out sick, and the replacement staff could not find my check (over $1000!!) even though the money was pulled from my other bank account! It took them multiple hourse to āfind my moneyā! I still have one account open. One that I canāt close online because the app will not allow me to pay from an outside source and insists I need to open a Truist account to pay it. Now my credit score is being affected. I guess Iāll need to take my 7th trip to this bank and get jerked around a bit more.

::I feel like this bank is stealing peopleās money. I swear Iāve had to get a new card at least 6 or 7 times within the past year (I used to NEVER have problems with this bank until just last year & sometimes it wasnāt my choice to get a new card), because every couple of months, my card is charged when my account doesnāt have a lot of money on it (I stopped putting my money on my card for this particular reason) and letās say I have $1-5 on my card (I just keep a little bit of money on it so it wonāt go negative) I noticed my card is charged for like $4 or $5 but it wonāt say for what in the screen where it shows your purchases & I canāt find what it is for in my Apple purchase history either. So it makes my account go negative and I canāt even show them proof of what charged my card for a dispute because in my account it doesnāt say thereās a charge. Iāve also had to go so far with this hoping my card wonāt be randomly charged that i had to turn my card settings to where it blocks any purchases, any atm transactions, deposits, withdrawals, e-commerce, everything when Iām not using my card and somehow it still charges my card. happened to me today 09/09/20 (thatās why Iām writing this because Iām fed up & hopefully itās not happening to anyone else) and Iāve tried telling the people at the bank Michelle & Jordan (Newport KY location on Monmouth) and I just really felt like they didnāt care at all and didnāt think it was strange or weird that it keeps happening. The other lady with the shorter black hair is much nicer and more caring. Getting a new card literally doesnāt make a difference. Itās just an annoying process Iāve had to go through waiting on a new card every couple of months. If thereās some low balance fee Iām not aware of or something then Iād appreciated if they would of told me because I donāt know if there is or what the deal is. It only happens when my account has $1-5 on it... and yes youāre probably wondering why I havenāt switched banks yet, trust me, Iād love to but I donāt know which banks are good & trustworthy. Also BB&T in Newport is literally 5 minutes away from my house & I donāt have a car so going to a bank further out isnāt the best option for me. I donāt know what to do. :/
