::My very senior schnauzer was having diarrhea and they were able to get me in. The customer service was amazing, the tech (I forget her name) she has tattoos and she was amazing with Lacie. She was very gentle and loving with my senior girl. She made our visit so much better. The vet was very knowledgeable and took the time to go over everything with me in detail. I saw Dr. Glass, who is a relief vet, so I haven't met the one who is normally there all the time. All in all, we had a great experience and I will definitely be going back with my other pets. The prices were also great, if you know how much things normally cost at other vets. While I was there, someone was complaining about the price of some tests that were run, and I overheard the receptionist going over the prices with her. I have been charged markups of 50% on those same tests at a different veterinarian. If only people knew how much those things cost elsewhere, they wouldn't complain. Keep up the great work, Thrive!

::Went to this location to get my pupper updated on his shots and this place is AWESOME. My dog is always a little skittish around new people, especially at the vet, and they were super patient and sweet with him. Great job, THRIVE!

::5 star treatment! The vet is always stressful with my two fur babies but the team at this location put me at ease. From the young lady at the front to the tech and doctor - A+ service! Very sweet ladies and personable. Would recommended 100 times over!

::I love the staff at this place! First off my American Bull Dog was addressed properly at the door. Then greeted with tons of hugs and loves not to mention T.R.E.A.T.S. Then he became the most untrained baby I have ever seen in my life. I actually could not believe it. They were so patient and not bothered. They were in it to the end. Great care, great tolerance for big dogs that are chicken to get on the scale, clingy types....etc.

::I recently found a sweet pup on the streets of Houston. As such, I looked up an "affordable" vet to take her. I found Thrive. First, I must say the vet techs were WONDERFUL, sweet and helpful. The vet, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Her bedside manner could not be more cold and uncaring. I was obviously a little concerned about having Rescued this dog and expected the vet to sit with me for a few minutes to talk about the dog. Instead, she came in, told me the "facts" - one including her tail being almost severed and offered no follow up advice, kindness or help. I was freaked out about her tail, and asked if it could be removed. she was perplexed as to my asking that and said, "it will fall off" ummmm should I get a cone? Is it infected? She couldn't tell because her hair was matted around it. $280 later, we left with antibiotics and a round of shots. I will never return to this location. The vet could have cared less about this pup. Next time, I'll pay (I doubt it is even more anywhere else) more to have a vet spend more than 3 minutes with me and show a little compassion toward the animal. I should have read the reviews prior to going. But I was nervous about having a stray dog and wanted to get her in immediately. Please seek out other affordable options before coming here. There are a ton of lovely, sweet affordable vets all around the city. This is not one. Also- the sweet staff of Petco could not be nicer. This review is for the vet, Specifically.
