Food is very good, but not very vegetarian friendly. Service was very good and the atmosphere was nice without being stuffy. I also liked the large windows providing ample natural lighting.

First time here, everything looked great and tasted better. Service was amazing, which is one thing I'm very critical of. Please try this place!!!

I arrived at Waterboy after my friends, who were comfortably seated and sipping wine. Five minutes passedā€¦no waitress. I waved to a female staff member leaning against the wall near and the bar. After a few moments, she reluctantly strolled to our table, clearly indicating we werenā€™t her responsibility. I asked for a glass of Newcastle Brown. She returned to her original spot and spoke to another staff member, not the bartender. Another five minutes or so passedā€¦no beer. By now, three male staff members joined the young lady, talking and laughing. Meanwhile, the bartender was busy chatting up a young blond, his only ā€œcustomer.ā€ Our waitress arrived with a cheerful greeting 15 ā€“ 20 minutes after I joined my friends. She discussed the specials and took our order. I asked for the long overdue beer. Passing our table several minutes later, she let me know that the Newcastle Brown was on its way. Great! A status report instead of a beer. I looked aroundā€¦The restaurant was half-full; the girl, three guys and the bartender were still having a grand time. I sipped water. A few minutes later, the beer arrived. Our dinners also took a looooong time to prepare, so much so that we skipped our usual coffee and desert to get to the Community Center Theater for an 8:00 performance. This wasnā€™t the first time weā€™ve been to Waterboy, but it is our last. Happily, many fine restaurants have opened in Sacramento over the last few years. I added a star for the efficient, hard-working waitress.

This is a favorite restaurant of mine came here once but I decided I will try new restaurants before picking regulars. I love the atmosphere it is very upscale, popping scene so I suggest dressing up the one thing I do not like about this location is how cramped the The tables feel maybe the set up they have a really good wine selection this restaurant is child friendly I brought my two and they were well accommodated by our waiter. I had issues with the parking across the street I put a $20 bill and did not get my $15 change I called and never got any response to get my refund but that is OK so I suggest you bring exact change if you park across the street unless you get lucky and get a space in front

This place left me speechless. Food is just amazing, the services is beyond great. Thinking of the food makes me drool just a little. The menu had great options, but make sure to ask about the specials. Specials of the night really stand out and are too good to be true. Good amounts are served for appetizers, main meals and even the desert. You'll leave the place incredibly happy and full.
