  I had no idea this place was so big on the inside and the art is so varied. From beautiful classical pieces from the master to more modern art that you find yourself staring at to find it's meaning and each time finding something different. I really enjoyed the calligraphy area showing differences between Japanese Chinese and Korean language.

  Good exhibits. Tours sometimes got in yhe way. Some exhibits were also in an unnecessarily large space. Otherwise good place to visit.

  There is some really great art here. I always get the feeling that the staff were watching me very closely like I was gonna steal a painting or something. Or like they were looking down on me for some unknown reason. The Asian art exhibit and the moon gold room were probably my favorites.

  "The museum has a discriminatory bag check policy" We can confirm that policy is still in effect. Saw two women with giant purses able to enter, but we were not allowed in with our camera bag, holding our passports and documents. No other museums in the park discriminated against us. SHAMEFUL

  I enjoy the art exhibits at the museum. There is something for everyone. My husband really liked the American artists gallery.
