OMG. You guys. You guys. You have to check this place out. So many doors, windows, all sorts of stuff. If you own an antique house or just need some cheep ass stuff for some renovations or building projects.. this is it. Such a wonderful staff, and the prices are insanely low. It's a bit like Goodwill for your house.

I love this place... Absolutely love it... You never know what you're going to find in the employees are all incredibly knowledgeable.... It's a great place to just go poke around when you don't have much to do you might walk away with a truckload of stuff at a great price.... And Ella Rose runs the joint

This is like the world's largest garage sale filled with things you might need to remodel your home. I've had mixed experiences at the Rebuilding Center, but that's mostly due to staff inconsistencies (they are mostly volunteers). For the most part, this is a great place to browse for things you might need to do some remodeling projects on your home, but don't go in expecting to find specific things.

I really like this place. There was a gentleman that helped me out even though he was due for a break. He was friendly and didn't try to rush me with my questions. When I finally picked out my things the cashier told me to use cash because the items that I'm picking up were only $2. I told her that I didn't have any cash with me and my card was all I had. She was rude and told me to come back with cash. This place seems like it gets plenty of business. I can't imagine that their fees for using a card machine is hurting them. Anyway, shame on that lady. It took me a long time to pick out my things and to get turned away for payment was really disappointing.

Friendly workers and volunteers. Pretty organized for the volume of goods they carry. As a regular customer I can find needed items quickly, but if this is your first visit allow extra time to look around their 2 buildings. You can place a free short duration hold on items while you decide to purchase; purchased items can be held 72 hours. Bring your gloves, tape measure, and dress warm if it's cold out. Assistance provided for loading and unloading. Stock is constantly rotating and popular items go fast as things are priced to move. If you shop here you will save money, and save items from the landfill. This is the largest reuse stove in Portland, so a must see. The parking lot is small, but there is plenty of free on street parking. Volunteers wanted, and homes wanted for deconstruction. This is a non profit.
